It's been a long, long time since I've pieced a back. So both lengths were nicely pressed and starched and I went to cut the second lenth in half. OMG I cut the width and not the length!!!! GRRRRRR. I'm thinking I will piece two "widths" (diagonally) to make two "lengths." What do you think? I have no orphan blocks and a tight deadline. Please advise.

Can't you just sew it back together, then recut the way you needed it done? It might be hardly noticeable.

I once cut one 7 inches short. I just added what I needed and didn't worry about it.
