I believe I am loseing my mind
O kay so I finally get up enough courage to start the elmers glue sandwitch for my GD's quilts. following the information that I have learned from sooo many of you kind people on the board. SOOoooo the problem is I can not remember what side is UP for the batting LOL I have looked and looked I know I have saved it a few times and can not find it. Can some please help me!!!!! I think the side with the bumps go next to the wrong side of the top of the quilt. Flat or smooth side against the wrong side of the bottom and I glue the bottom to the batting first. I feel llike such a air head. I am so afraid of making a miss of these quilts. thank you for your help in advance. Happy holidays to all yippie

Ummmm, I didn't know there was an Up side to batting.
Don't worry about messing up with the elmer's. If you don't think it looks right or feels right, just soak in a tub of water to separate the layers, dry and start over. Not an airhead, just a new technique to learn.

Thank you coyotemagic I looked on the web and found what i needed the bumppie side goes up aginst the wrong side of the top. sooth side against the wrong side of the bottom. Thank you for the information about being able to undue the glue if needed. YOu See I am doing these quilt and uncommon way. they are rag quilts of a sort the top is done rag style and the bottom is a flat piece of fabric in stead of sewing the blocks one by one both sides. I hope you have a great holiday season. thank you again yippie

Another great thing about Warm and Natural is that is made right in Washington State, USA. Take some time, 6 minutes, and watch their video on how the batting is produced. Very interesting.
