Smile I bought a Jem!

Its a Platinum 760, 3 yrs old and purrs like a kitten! I am SO excited! I purchased a new Elna 6 months ago but have been wanting something a little more portable to take to classes and retreats. I priced new machines and just couldn't justify the cost but I just happened to check on CL and found this one an hour away. She had only listed it the day before and the best thing of all it was only $125! She had it cleaned and checked in April by a guy with a high rating on Angie's list. And I love that my Elna feet will fit it.

Its so portable I can even take it to work and sew on my lunch hour, and my mom is 87 yrs old and loves that I am sewing again...this will be great to take to her house and sew with her! I am so doing the happy dance right now!

What a great find. My machines are too heavy to take anyplace. Someday I need to invest in a "traveling" machine

Great deal! I have two Jems--a platinum (my favorite) and a gold and love them both.

I have two Jem Golds and have never had one minute of trouble from them. They have been used by kids and many beginners and no hassle or frustration at all.
