You know, if you do the 9P without the sashing, and add a solid block every other you would end up with an Irish Chain. If you have enough of the gold, I'd put that on the corners and center for the chain, and use it for the solid block too.
If you don't have enough, then I think I'd get the nice med. or lighter green and use that for the solid and chain and use the prints for the rest of the 9 patches.
