    Practice, practice, practice.....this will help you become a good quilter. Not all of us are perfect the first time;
    some are a natural at it and most of us are not!!!

    It makes no difference in your mistakes; I assure you every quilter; no matter who they are will have mistakes, some just take a little closer looking to find but they are there. (only God is Perfect). I usually turn one block backwards to remind me; I am not perfect; So no matter how hard I try--there will always be mistakes... Don't let anyone tell you they don't make mistakes; they do. Including the called professional ones! Enjoy yourself and play with your fabric and laugh at your mistakes--like the rest of us we are human; even some don't think so.

    I have the solution for you...Do all your quilting when the Quilt Police are at Dunkin Donuts for their free coffee. Problem solved LOL...I'm in the same boat as you. I usually hand quilt all my quilts that's why I haven't made many lately. Just got a new HV Topaz with a larger throat area and hope to learn FMQ.
