I have used a large oval hoop, the same one, for about 20 years and I have wanted a large frame that I wouldn't have to baste quilts for. I finally ordered one on eBay today. I got the Grace FF Z44 Pro, the bungee clamps, and the daylight clamp-on lamp. I am so excited!
I'm in Washington state until Friday and I hope it does come to my home before the weekend so I can spend time setting it up and playing with it. My neighbor across the street picks up things that are delivered while I'm at work so I'm not worried about it sitting there if it gets there sooner than I do.
Even if I don't decide to quilt every one that I do, it will still be very nice to tie a quilt on.

It will go in one of the spare bedrooms, no room for it in the sewing room. I'll definately post pictures.
I'm just outside of Spanaway until Friday afternoon. I missed the Sewing Expo in Puyallup (sp). I didn't know about it until I read it here yesterday and it was already over.
Maybe next year if my daughter is still living here and/or her husband is stationed here.

I read this in the eBay seller's feedback on the Grace FF Z44:
"Awesome - Can't wait to stain it and put it together. Extra's are terrific!"
What do they mean, staining it? I don't have to stain it, do I? I know it's natural wood but, I assumed it was left that way.

How exciting!!! A floor frame is a future wish of mine, I think. The idea of not having to baste is a real temptation, but some people say they don't like having to stay in one spot, usually away from the rest of the family, to do their quilting. Please let us know how you like it, the set up, the use, well everything!
