I was going through my hope chest and low and behold I found a tabletopper given to me by my sister's MIL. She made it for me when I told her I liked the one she did for my sister!!! Its beautiful but its not even close to being like the one my sister has. lol I still treasure it but it doesnt match anymore lol

There is lot of work put into this and she is an excellent quilter!!! She was about 80 when she put it together on her old singer. She is so precise in her sewing - Her name is Ella and she was the one that helped me do my first quilt!!! She is about 92 now and still going - she lives out of town and I havent seen her for awhile but I heard she was still doing quilts in the nursing home and heaching a small group in quilting at the home!!!! God love her!!! I sure hope I will still be able to enjoy the experience when I am that age!!!

I think that is lovely. But I have a question - just what is the difference between a table topper and a table cloth when the size is sufficient to cover a table you can eat on?
