I love your quilt so far the colors are really pretty, I think that I would try and cut a triangle in black to fill in the corners. I think that maybe you just need to walk away from it for a little while and then figure out what you want to do. I know that you will figure it out and it will be beautiful when you are done. A black, white and red quilt is on my to do list. Post pictures when you are done. HUGS

Has anyone had this happen to them??? If so.. what did you do???????
The blocks look great!!! Sew the blocks together in strips and then sew the strips together to make your quilt top. Tops do not have to be so symetrically balanced.

It's happened many times. Sometime I will redo offending block, but the worst reaction I have had to date, (thank goodness). Was to through the entire quilt away. How I regret that action. Someone once told me there are no perfect people and certainly, no perfect quilts. Only The Devine is perfect. I now look at my mistakes a little differently, (but, honestly) they still agitate me a little! I'm working on my attitude a little closer now.

Wow, beautiful tops. Excuse my ignorance, but what pattern is this? It looks pretty straight forward and easy to make. I would like to make one. I collect black and red fabrics and this would be a fun quilt to make. Mind sharing the pattern name? Thanks!

Make a block like the others (before the sashing goes on) and then cut it diagonally. Then you will have enough for two of your spaces....

When I have done this it has always been too small. You have to add at least 1/2" to allow for the border seam or binding. Otherwise you will lose your points.

Out of curiosity, can you tell me where you got the "Fox" fabric panel?
