Default I was given binder clips

for Christmas and thought hmm I will try these next time I do a binding.I am doing rag quilts with denim and bending pins like crazy then I saw the binder chips.I love them.

I use these instead of pins whenever possible. They hold fabric better then a pin. I quit taking them to guild and sew days. Others would borrow a few and I'd never get them back.

​Handy little things aren't they? Some of my flower top pins are in bad shape and I need to use my clips more often. It takes a while for new habits to form.

Arent these great.!?!?!??!?! . Hubby got me two bags of the 50ct red clips and two bags of the Jumbo 30ct ( i think) ones for Christmas.. .. I just love them ..

just now finished my denim and cotton rag quilt. wished I had some. but broke one needle going over seams, so this is the last one I will do. had to hand stitch the thick seams on the last two rows. not fun! For bindings , I use the silver clips and they work fine too.

For thick seams I use the Jean A Ma Jig. It use to come free in quilt ad mail outs some years ago but now it cost about $4. It works great.
