I would be interested in what you and other Serenade owners have to say about your machines. I was considering buying one and changed my mind because all the reviews I read were bad. So, what so all you Serenade owners have to say about that?

Thanks to all of you for commiserating with me. And, I didn't have the sense to take the manual with me. But, Today is finally the day. I'm going to sew on her if I have to stay up all night.
EvelynJ, I couldn't postpone my trip to doctors, although I wanted to. I have an inplanted morphine pump, and if it runs out it could potential kill me. SO, needless to say, we don't let it get to close to that empty mark. I home now and itching to use her. So, I'm off of here and headed to my sewing room. Thanks Ladies. You are all super great and so supportive and helpful. We are blessed to have this board. Vondae (alias-MiMi)

Where did you read these reviews? Remember, if a site accepts advertising, the reviews are inherently biased. Every "review" site I've seen accepts advertising. Only Consumer Reports (that I know of) doesn't accept advertising.

ChaiQuilter--The reviews I read were on the website patternreviews.com. There were 4 reviews: 3 users said they would not recommend the machine, and the fourth said "maybe". Only the first listed one went into details of machine problems (and the details were ugly!). I just went back to the website, and there are advertisements there--didn't pay any attention to that at the time. I don't know what consumer reposrts has to say about the machine because I don't have a subscription with them, in order to find out. I am going to post a new thread asking for users opinions here.

I have the Serenade's cousin, Pfaff Smarter C1100, for about a month. I love it. You have to get used to how the new machine reacts and I think sometimes, without help, the new owner can get frustrated. With my machine machine quirks, i called my dealer and read lots of forums, and figured my machine out, and think it is wonderful.

The stitches are beautiful, DFS, cutter, knee lift, sturdy, no vibration at high speeds
