Thumbs down Blades from Harbor Freight

I was so excited to try those blades for my rotary cutter from Harbor Freight. My husband goes there all the time and really likes the store. So he bought me 4 packs of them. I finally put one in last nite. Oh my gosh! They were terrible. I thought maybe it was my cutter so I tried them in another cutter. And the same thing.......they skipped and just did not cut properly. My dull blade I was replacing worked better than the new one. So this morning I took them back to the store. They were so nice and did not hesitate at all about giving me a store credit as my husband did not save the receipt. I can't understand how some quilters said they worked so good. I tried mine in my Olfa cutters. Did they have different cutters???

I've not had any trouble using them in mine. Maybe you just got hold of a bad lot.

I tried them too, and must have gotten a bad batch. I have switched to the 90mm cutter that closes it self, and love it.

I use them and have had a few that I chose not to use. You can't beat the price though!

I think the reviews are mixed. so many of us are having no problems with them, and then there are many who are. One suggestion made was to make sure there is only one blade in the cutter. But this may not be the issue. I've used several and so far no problems, so time will tell.

I use them all the time and don't have any problems. Occasionally, I will get one that doesn't cut properly and I just toss it. You can't beat the price. I do use an Olfa Rotary Cutter.

I'm sorry to hear that your experience was not positive. I use them with so-so success, but the price outweighs the success rate.

I bought them and tried them just this weekend and it was horrible ! i've decided I will pay for the more expensive replacement blades and be done with it. I've now got two packages replacements, don't have a receipt and certainly don't need a store credit !

It might be one of those things that works sometimes and doesn't others.....I just don't have the patience to deal with it right now.
