    What a neat idea. I remember Dick and Jane and Spot too. Didn't they have a cat or has it been too many years ago that I am trying to remember? Love your wall hanging.
    PS I think I can remember some of the exact words and quote them. LOL

    I like your wall hanging!

    I bought quite a few of these coordinates, even though we didn't have Dick and Jane. We had Tom, Betty and Susan from a different publisher - but very similar illustrations and the progression from simplest sentences and words to more complexity. I read The Five Little Peppers before I went to school, so Tom, Betty and Susan didn't give me much of a challenge in the reading department, but I did love those pictures and the stories.
