I am a mobile pet groomer of almost 31 years. I live near a retirement community and go to peoples homes. while at a customers home she was telling me that she is trying to get rid of stuff. knowing that she quilts but hasnt in a while I mentioned that when she cleans out her quilt room to keep me in mind. When I came back in from grooming her precious little dog she presented me with a stack of quilting material. 7 different yards of beautiful prints. we obviously have the same tastes in fabric as I would have chosen these for myself. LOL What a wonderful Christmas gift!

Any gift is a blessing, but a quilter getting fabric is absolutely wonderful. I hope you make her something she can use with her fabric as a token of appreciation.

I am also a groomer but not mobile!! My clients also bring me the old bandana's that I put on their dogs to wear home....always washed, dryed and ironed!! I will be working on a quilt, cutting or sewing, while I wait for the last dog to go home and the owners that come in that time of day will bring me quilt-y gifts!! Fun times!!1
