i havent been online for awhile so much has been going on although i have found time to do some quilting
i have a sugestion that workes well for me i got tired of marking pens running out of ink half way through a project i have a bunch of old patterns a friend gave to me since most of them are out dated i started useing them to mark out my quilting patterns.
i then pin them to the project to be quilted .
i have found that the patterns are much easyer to fallow then useing a marker on the fabrick .
i have also found that some of the blue from the washable markers does not always come out this cured the problem of that.
i have also used the tissue papper for papper piecing projects it tears awys much easyer than othere papers.
i have since than found old patterns at garage sales and fleamarkets for about 10 cents apiece
happy quilting everone
and god bless you all

Using old patterns is a great tip, thanks! I was thinking of chucking some I had that were pretty old, but now I won't.

Darn - I just threw out about 30 old patterns. Didn't know if they were all there or not, and the sizes were all wrong. Still got more to go through so will keep this tip in mind. Thanks for sharing this idea.
