google open zip files and it should give you step by step instructions on how to do this. Good luck!!

I extract my zipped files on the computer and then download to my Brother machine. Right click the file on the computer and see if it says extract. Just openining won't do on my computer.
Good luck.

You have to extract the files b/4 your machine will read them.

It is always so frustrating when this suff starts happening. I usually have to walk away for a while to calm down then go back and try again. LOL!

You most likely need to unzip or extract the files before they will work....it's most frustrating, but a fact of life with a computer/embroidery machine...Good luck!

I too, let my husband "help" with this step. He's much better at it than I.

I agree that the files have to be extracted before you can use them. You will then have a zipped file and an extracted file of each. Once you have extracted the files, you can use the one that has been extracted with your embroidery machine.

Someone else mentioned it- right click on the zipped file and you should see an option to extract the file. You can usually choose where to save it.

Good luck- don't give up.
