I use the Easy Angle ruler. This method is very easy and saves on fabric and sizing is easy to calculate. 2" finshed half square triangle takes 2.5" strip. Pricing is very reasonable. I also use triangulation.

I use the "sandwich" method...that is putting the two large sqs together & sewing 1/4 in. on all 4 sides...than cut either my HST or QST....saves time

I love Trianglulations. I have any size triangle as close as my printer. There are so many gadets to "life easier" that it does become overwhelming as to which one to choose

If you go to the June Taylor site given earlier and click on the videos on the left side of the screen there is one for this ruler. She states the biggest unfinished half-square block it will make is 6.5"
Hope this helps with the ruler.
