I'm not going so far as to stick my neck out and say I will finish a couch size quilt for DD#3. Want it done before she is 50 -- have a couple (or three years) to go. Also a couch size quilt for DH. Haven't done one for him yet. Just HOPE to get both of these done this year. The DGGKs have all outgrown their baby quilts so need to start over again for their new quilts. Also one for the youngest DGS who is growing in leaps and bounds. Hopefully no emergency quilts will come up this year. Seems I have had emergency prayer quilts to do just before the holidays lately. running1, I can't believe I've put this in writing!

Oh, that is such a good idea. When it stops being fun It means it has turned into work. And quilting should be something you enjoy!

I have made one soft book, table runner and two fleece blankets before Christmas. I still need to make another table runner and one more fleece blanket to make. I'm with the rest of those who have committed to not make any deadlines for projects!

Reading these comments and thinking we are all the same. why do we do this to ourselves.. Why cant we finish one thing before we start another. I said I wasnt going to buy or print out anymore patterns until I finish up some of my UFO'S. i bought two patterns today. It never ends.

You know, friends, we ARE the same... we just have many dreams!! My main goal is to enjoy every moment I'm behind the machine or sitting with some kind of fabric and thread in my hands... to cherish it! And to NOT stress over finishing or not finishing anything. I heard someone say recently "I'm pretty sure the world won't stop spinning if that doesn't get finished!" I'm trying to remember that! Love to all!!!

I'm there with you. I've been a sucker for signing up for Block of the Month projects. I probably could do 5 blocks each month for a year and still have a bunch more waiting. Those are the ones that are kitted. I have a whole file of other ones downloaded. Must learn to get some resistance.

(we'll see how long THIS lasts. )
