A woman from my church saw the Tumbling Blocks quilt that I'm currently working on and she asked if I wanted some squares that she made back when she was around 20 years old (she's now 70-ish). Well, yes!! There are 19 11-inch (unfinished) squares of Sunbonnet Sue. Each girl is wearing a different print dress and her bonnet, sleeve and shoes are all the same solid fabric that coordinates with the print dress. As soon as I find my digital camera, I'll take pictures to show everyone.

Wow, I can't wait to see them! Isn't it fabulous when something from yester year is saved and re-used!

Hugs

Caroline

Ooooh what a great deal! I bet she feels better giving them to a quilter too, rather than some random family member who probably won't know how special they really are.
