I just acquired this machine this week, and hopefully have just ordered the correct manual from sandman collectibles. As far as the correct needles and singer oil to use can you recommend a site for those as well. I am making the assumption that they are not available at a local store. Is that right...thanks

You can pick up the Singer oil at just about any fabric store. Same with the grease for the motor. Just e sure to use the Singer brand. Don't know about the needles. Sorry.

Good old common size 15 needles, thank goodness. Singer, Schmertz, etc. I downloaded my manual free, but if you've ordered one, that's good. Any clear SM oil is fine. Singer is readily available in any sewing dep't.
