yes, I put too many layers into my Go! and stripped out the gears in the handle. I emailed the company but haven't heard back.

anyone else push the limits and kill theirs??

I almost did mine when it was new. I had a hard time rolling them through but it still works.

I have not bought one yet. I figured the price would drop eventually. I'd get impatient and put too many layers in for sure.

How many layers did it take to break it? I don't want to learn the hard way.

I just received one from my younger sister a couple of weeks ago as a gift. I appreciate your posting as I will be careful not to overload it.

I put in 8 layers batik. I was angry and trying to cut to get rid of the attitude. My attitude killed my toy.

It works great and I will replace it definitely.

I just hope they are nice and send me the replacement parts like they have others.

I've cut 6 layers of cotton before. Seemed easy but maybe I was pressing my luck! Thx for sharing your experience.
