I bought my self a smaller version. I got the inspria quilt frame and the Mega quilter machine from Husqvarna. It is WAY bigger than I thought and had to do some rearranging to get it set up!!! I still haven't used it yet. I have had it for two months now. Been set up for one month. It was $5000, but I have saved for sometime to get it.

Kat, They also had the mega quilter there. They wanted 4 grand for it but it didn't come with the frame (nor q-bot). It looked like it had a descent sized throat space. When it's hooked up the frame how big is your sewing area?
Star, I appreicate your buck. but I would have to find 11,999 more friends to get it!

WOW! What a great Christmas gift that would be. I know there is a big demand for that type of quilting. There is usually a long wait to get a quiltop quilted. I have a friend who quilts quite a bit and has had a couple of quilts done and she has had to wait quite a bit. She lives in San Francisco and still had to wait. You might think about doing it for $. Fons and Porter claim it can pay for itself and I agree!

I would love to get the Bernina 830, their latest gem. It also costs $12,000. and unless I were win the Lotto, I don't see one in my future...

Good luck in getting and ejoying yours!

I have an older version of the Mega quilter and inspira frame. Does your dealer take trade ins? I would love the newer machine and frame. Mine will only let me quilt about 6 inches at a time. Would love the new one.

Denise, I did see a sign that said they take trade-ins, and it was up to several thousand dollars. It's at the Joanne's in Bloomindale, Il on Army Trail Road. I hope your able to get yourself a new toy!

wow - that's more than my six year old car costs! If you'd settle for a Tin Lizzie you could also check eBay!
