Someone posted the winners list, with links to pictures of all the winners in the show. I looked at all of them, and only 2 did I save to my desktop. I'm a scrap quilter, but both of the quilts I liked the most were controlled colors on black. Hmmm. Maybe I ought to go buy some yardage instead of remnants, huh?

Cant tell by pictures but I wonder if some of them arent intricate applique and not large fabric pieces but I just cant tell. Eiither way they are beautiful!!!! You can achieve the same looks though with large pieces I think depending on the quilting!!!

I also understand, due to flooding concerns, the show is spread out all over town this year. The 2 years I went, it was spread out, but still located in the downtown area. That may not be the case this year since downtown is directly on the river. And I agree with you, posting the winners early can be a disappointment to actually seeing the show, unless you want to go for the vendors or for something special alone.
