I really like this idea that posted a little while ago to make a prayer quilt. It has a cross in the middle. My question is for those of you who machine or longarm quilt...How would you quilt this pattern?

Depends on your fabric. Either stipple/meander or diagonal across the squares.

I think I would have straight lines coming out of the cross like a starburst and then crosshatch from the border out.

I really like this idea and think it would come out beautifully.
The other idea I had was to echo the cross up to the first color change and the do cross hatch in the rest.

Thanks for the ideas. I once saw a wholecloth with the radiating lines, if I can just remember where.
