Welcome to the Quilting Board!

In the classified section, I like to see the pictures of things
that were for sale even if they are already sold.
I agree. I'm always disappointed when the photo or price or description is deleted.
I copied this from the "Rules" for the classified section:
"Please do NOT delete photos and other information about the items offered or sold. Leave the photos, descriptions, and price information intact. Buyers and sellers still have sole responsibility for creating and maintaining accurate records of their transactions. However, we've learned from member input that deleting information from ads creates problems and confusion from time to time."
The rest of the rules/guidelines can be read here:

some folks don't read them before posting!Originally Posted by bearisgray

I also like to see what was offered - even if it's only to see what I missed out on!
I'm thinking some of the people are still deleting sold items because that's what they were used to doing LAST year - and aren't aware that the "new" way (rules rewritten in February 2011) is stating to NOT delete the sold items.
I wish they would also leave the prices...it gives folks a sense of what things are going for!
totally agree, which can also be handy for first time sellers to be able to gauge the prices they should charge.Originally Posted by jaciqltznok
I also like when people change the title to say when things are all sold in that specific thread and please please please include in the title if it is FS (for sale) or ISO (in search of)
Can be annoying looking for product for sale and click on an ISO listing. (would love to see the ISO's have their own area)
I believe we're supposed to leave the pictures there even if they are sold..
