I love that one too much fabric being like too much fun. I received a gift of 27 bins of quilt shop quality fabric from a woman that was a quilter and had tons of money. She would buy fabric and have it shipped to her when on vacation. Then never even open the boxes. When she retired they decided to travel even more and she was going to donate all her fabric to a thrift store. My daughter spoke up and said that her mom would love to have it. I do have a large sewing room and my husband build a bunch more shelves. What fun I've been having. It took me weeks and weeks to go through it and sort and see what I got. You talk about fun.!!!

Didn't realize that there was a "line"...LOL Maybe I've already crossed it? If you ask my DH, I most certainly have!

So wonderful that you can keep these fabrics in the family. Your family will love the quilts you make them. Enjoy.

I didn't think there was a "cross-over" fabric line that was stationary. Thought it moved as more fabric was added!

I'm working on cataloging my stash. I wouuld guess I have at least 500 yards. Oh and did I mention I've been doing this for only about 3 years? 0.0 Now, 1/4 of that is vintage stuff and not "active" inventory. But I'm still under 30 so I should have time to use a lot of this up....haha.
Can't have too much if you enjoy it, IMHO
