I made up some quilt blocks for gd and she had friends and family sign them at her graduation and some of them used regular ink pens instead of the pen I provided, can I somehow save these signatures and how?"??

My fear would be that if they used some kind of GEL ink it will run once it gets wet. If this is the case, maybe use a light box and trace the signature or see if she can get those people to resign another block with the CORRECT pin! If there isn't a fear of gel ink on the quilt I would do as others and just trace over the signature with the pin!

If the blocks were a lot of work to piece, I would just leave them alone , quilt it up and explain to GD that some of the signatures may run when washed. You could embroider over the original signatures but the pen may run underneath when washed.
If they were simple blocks and you feel like the extra work, you could use a light box to trace the signatures (using the correct pen) onto new blocks. Why can't people just follow instructions? Bummer!
