Ok. I need a design wall but the best place is over the closet doors. I have two swing-open closet doors. What I was thinking was a roll up or shade mounted over the doors. I do not know what would be the best material for this type of application. Any suggestions? Thanks,

I use a large flannel backed tablecloth and hang it, flannel side out, from pant hangers that I hook over the molding of my closet doors. Try it!

I personally think if you have a queen sized bead--or enough floor space...you can use that, and it will be more realistic. If you truly feel better looking at your design on a wall...I would use felt, or a near facsimile on a bedroom wall, or over your doors.

I have Cats that think anything on the floor or the bed is for them to sleep on or lay on. They leave me lots of hair all over.

Another option would be to cover the doors of the closet.

I used black fleece and have it mounted on tentest that is screwed on the wall. It has worked great, and has lots of "stick" power when putting things on and leaving for a long time. No pins, no matter how large the pieces are (think -- fully assembled quilts!. And a bonus with the extra wide width!

I've used the vinyl tablecloth with pant hangers on my china cabinet, works great.

I have the same situation and am planning to use foam board (blue house insulation from Lowes/Home Depot) covered with 100% cotton batting or white flannel, and split to attach to each door with small wood screws at top and bottom.
