You have all been so helpful, thank you for sharing your ideas. I made a monumental decision.....I am making two quilts! I am making one for my future grandson ( that will be the second one and he hasn't even arrived yet- am I a little excited!!!). And I will make a second one to sell at our town wide yard sale. So there ya go. It's such an easy pattern and makes up really quickly. Thanks again to all!

I like the 2nd better also - it provides the light that each quilt needs. Using both blocks in your quilt would work well.

I prefer the darker, but both will make good looking quilts. If you can't decide---why not alternate? the medium blue block beside a light blue block! You other blues will make the pieces match!
