I want to make a darling 11 yr old a pillow, wallhanging or quilt for Christmas. Or maybe from a panel.

A sort of timkerbell fairy. her parents are in the middle of a divoece. She chose lavendar for the walls of her bedroon at her dads house. I gave her a quilt I had that had tropical seashell on the backing as a welcome from me to her ner bedroom.

Any ideas??

Thanks -- Mim

I would find a coloring book page and make a shilloette, or if money is not an issue there are lots of cute fairy blocks/panels out there , check ebay or etsy. You can also copy a nice picture onto fabric.

Thomas Kinkade did a Tinkerbell panel - it's very cute, but more traditional Disney than modern Disney. There is some really cute Tinkerbell prints out too that have the more modern coloring (purples and greens). Or you can look online for coloring pages to applique.

may I suggest using the large coloring book from walmart, they are only 3 dollars and the fairy pictures are a good size
