I found a quilt pattern on the Moda Bake shop that I wanted to make as a surprise for a friend. I showed her the pattern and she said, "Ew... it makes me dizzy!"

Okay.... now what to do with these three charm packs I ordered to make it!!

I'm looking for some free charm pack patterns. I've been all over the Moda Bake Shop but most of the patterns call for layer cakes or jelly rolls as well as the charm packs and I really can't afford any more material. I'm open to suggestions!

Could you tell us which pattern made your friend dizzy? Based on that we could try to give other suggestions.

http://www.modabakeshop.com/2010/07/sunday-best.html made her dizzy but I love it.

I watched the Dresden video and can't believe how easy it is! Well, minus all the hand stitching which I'm terrible at. But it looks doable. I'm going to look up the Chinese coin pattern.

She and I are doing tons of D9P for some charity quilts so I'd like to stay away from that.

This is a link to a baby quilt I'm going to do for my SIL. I think it could easily be enlarged and kind of looks like a Chinese coin pattern! There is a link to the free PDF pattern on the site.
