Hi,
I am doing a quilt for my piano teacher and need some ideas. I want to do a keyboard and then some sheet music setting on the piano and some notes going off the page, but I need some kind of backdrop for the notes going off the page. Do you have any ideas?

There are several fabrics that feature music etc. you might google piano fabric or music fabric and see what pops up.

I like this idea ----- it helped me think of using fabric with people dancing for the background. That sounds like a great project. I hope you find the perfect background.
