Hi, I went overboard cutting 6" blocks! Now I need suggestions on how to use them. I was going to do a scrappy pinwheel, but forgot about the 8 seams! Any ideas? I've already tried sewing the blocks into strips and cutting to make "bricks". It seems too simplistic and hoping for something more interesting.

The strips will make a great scrappy quilt! My sister made 2 like that for their vacation cabin and the kids want to take them home, even tho they have quilts at home that she made.

I used the brick path for the quilt I made for our trailer and I love how it turned out.

How about sewing 3 or 4 strips together and a plain strip between?

I like your scrappy brick strips, but if you want variety, cut your strips different widths and maybe introduce a solid color. Just a thought.

I love that pattern with a narrow dark strip inbetween the others. It really changes the look. You can even throw a few here and there in the scrappy strips :D:D:D Someone just posted one like that recently.

Try this with 4 patch blocks--can't remember where I saw this (probably here lol) but this makes a pretty block.
