Default I need your help/opinion/ideas! Please!!!

I have this top done......I have black Kona for the back. It is for a silent auction in 2 weeks. It needs quilted.....

But HOW?
Here's my options at this moment:

1. Put it on the Little Gracie Frame and FMQ an all over meander with black thread.

2. Pin it (or spray baste) and do straight line quilting (with black thread)in the black 1/4 inch from both sides of the seams and then 1/4 inch from the seams in the colored rectangles with matching thread. (I have a walking foot to use on this)

3. Go to my air conditioned bedroom and procrastinate some more......

I'm looking for something easy as I still have 9 days of school left and am limited on my evening time as the lawn and garden are calling me, too.

lovely! i would not meander all over it with black thread-
but it is your choice- i think the procrastination option is out though! forget that one & get it done- then you can show us a new picture & have one ALL DONE! you have all summer for the lawn & garden

Beautiful quilt! I like option 2, but 3 doesn't sound so bad either.

I like the meander, but I'd use a varigated thread in the colors of the quilt on both the front and the back.
Whoops, that wasn't an option.

How about big and little circles all over it, kinda like bubbles? I have been told that when you have a quilt with alot of squares/rectangles, that quilting circles or curves adds some softness. LOVE the fabrics and the quilt. The black fabric really complements the other fabrics. Post pix when done (if you don't pass out first). I have 18 days of school left (work, that is, as a speech therapist) until summer break. The end is always the most hectic and challenging.

I was thinking the same thing! Varigrated thread meandering will make the backa show stopper too!
