    Ditto. I didn't know you could get the scorch out. I LOVE this board!

    One can sometimes get a light scorch out -

    Is the fabric damaged? A scorch can weaken the fibers.

    Charred is something else -

    I use a spritz of vinegar water and rub with a dry white towel. Most times that is all it takes.
