I got 10 quilt magazines for $1.00 today at the library! Check with your local library as they occasionally sell their old magazines and ones that have been donated.

My neighbor got a several magazines at her church garage sale and bundle them with a pretty ribbon and gave to me after my surgery She said "I could of bought you a couple or buy you a bundle for less". I couldn't have been more thrilled! I thought that was a great idea!

My local library has a Friends of the Library Book Room where all the books are donated and sold cheap, 10 cents for magazines and kids books, 25 cents for paperbacks, $1 for hardbacks. I get lots of my books there, then donate them back after I've read them. The "book room" always has something interesting that's not available in the check-out sections. I donated all my older quilt magazines and books there and they were snaped-up fast. All the money raised goes to the library.
