Usually there's nothing good in our CL either. I guess I was just lucky. I checked eBay and one of these just recently sold for $479.........who knew?

I had the opportunity to get a couple of big totes of fabric, a tote of embellishments and an older Brother machine & a Necchi machine from one of my husbands coworkers Aunts that had passed away. Everything was just given to me. My question is..about the Necchi machine, are they a good machine worth getting it looked at & cleaned up or should I just let it go. I haven't had time to even wash all the fabric let alone play with the machines, but would like anyones opinion on them if you'd care to share. My husband said you already have 5 machines that he knows of & asked why I wanted the machines as well lol Honey a sewer never turns down a free machine let alone 2 free machines.

I would be more interested in the Brother if it was old enough, from the 50's or 60's. I have more than a dozen old Brothers and wouldn't give up any of them for any other brand of machine.
