Sometimes that first cut into new fabric actually hurts me. The more I love the fabric. The more it hurts...

Not a newbie thing - been doing it for 5 yrs and just realized that the more complicated patterns end up giving me less trouble than the easier ones - must be the level of concentration! SO - give them a try!

Absolutely!! Just "feel the fear, and do it anyway."

It is all a learning experience and we learn from our mistakes. No matter if you are new or experienced.......you still make mistakes........another reason to buy extra fabric. Can never have too much, ya know. lol

Be brave. For quilters there's always a challenge ahead. A pattern we've never tried, an experiment with colors, new friends to met. Its not always comfortable but always rewarding. Just try to make one of us stop!
