I think my addiction is started.

I've only been quilting since the end of May when my mom signed me up for a quilting class at the lqs for my 30th birthday. Yesterday I decided to organize my sewing things. I have one of those plastic rollie carts with the three drawers in it. I've got to say in that short a time since I started quilting I have one drawer filled with fabric and I found a bunch of flannel I bought ALOT of at walmart for $1 a meter. Lol I can see why those of you who have been quilting for a while say you have tons of fabric when in such a short time Ive got this much. Theres only one thing to do. Make quilts. Just thought I'd share.

Welcome to the club! The general consensus here is there is no known cure for this addiction, even with intervention. An empty wallet can inhibit the process but the desire constantly simmers beneath the surface, waiting to erupt at hearing the words, "Fabric Sale!!". Those most desperate will actually sell (*gasp*!) some of their existing stash and turn around and buy more stash. Some will even trade from their stash. This board is an enabling tool for all that use it.
May your days be filled with tub after tub of stash.

Isnt it funny how even with a wallet that says no fabric you can come up with just enough money to buy that piece in the window Not that thia is a bad obsession to have you always have friends who share it with you and always have gifts to give away as needed
