I just got a newsletter from one of my LQS. In it was the following notice:

Please prevent anyone you can from attempting to use the Musical Ride Mystery Quilt cutting list on page 9 of the February March issue of The Country Register of British Columbia. When moving the instructions from one computer program to the next two fractions disappeared from the entire cutting list in the paper, 3/8 and 7/8, e.g. … cut ninety 2 7/8'' squares printed as cut at 2" only.

I am not affiliated with either the store or the Country Register, but I know how frustrating it is to have incorrect instructions.

Valuable information if you are doing a mystery from them! I would hate to cut 90 squares the wrong size if I was doing the mystery.

It is frustrating - I wasted two yards of fabric because the instructions were incorrect - the squares were an inch too small. They were sorry the the inconvenience!!
