Default Ideas for Three Fabric Quilts

I purchased 2 dust ruffles in a thrift store I think will make an adorable quilt. Trying to decide to use them with white or find more matching fabric. Thinking Fence Rail or Churn Dash? I rarely use plaids so I thought I'd ask before I start cutting strips.

I'd take that lavender color (the stripe to the right) and find a smallish print in that color that isn't really busy, and do a churn dash. It would be lovely!

I think adding some kind of pretty floral with purplish flowers would be perfect.

What a great find! They look so pretty together. A floral shouldn't be that hard to find. If you find more than one fabric (which can easily happen if you find the right fabric line), you could do pieced hearts or square in square, alternating the center shape and background colors.

Hugs,
Charlotte

Never thought about picking up dust ruffles at thrift stores. Always so many on the racks. Will have to check their inventory. Love the colors you have. And ditto what DebbE stated.

Dots, plaids and stripes are fabrics I very seldom use so my first thought was to add a stripe to the mix and step out of my comfort zone.

I have the same thought as many who have already posted... a small print (especially a floral) would be super.
