Yes because when you decide you want it for a project it will be gone, ask me how I know. it is so hard to find discontinued fabric without paying an arm and a leg

Buy it! I bought a whole bolt of a fabric I totally loved and then bought coordinates for it. I'm now happily making quilts from that fabric. I predict that you will regret it if you don't buy it and you won't regret it if you do buy it.

Why not make a quilt for yourself with your daughters name on.

Buy what you will need to make what you want with it. You may not get to it right away, but when you eventually decide to do that particular project, the fabric will probably no longer be available!! Nothing worse that walking away now and not finding it later on.

You could always get it and make little girl quilts for way down the line grandchild. Or just to have on hand if the need arises for a little girl quilt. Also you could get it to just have it for future use. Go for it and enjoy looking at it until you decide to use it.

I rarely buy collections but rather buy individual fabrics. If something speaks to me I get it for my stash and it is rare that I don't find a use for it in multiple projects. I don't think that most of the fabric in the collection mentioned looks juvenile so not having a little girl in mind wouldn't stop me from buying something I loved. If you can afford it and really love it get it. You will find something to use it in and in the meantime you can love looking at it.

Most of the time when I shop for fabric, I buy it because I like it....at least I used to. I have so much fabric now, that I am making myself use it and pretty much only shop for borders, or sashings or backings. If I want to shop otherwise, I try to have a plan. Or at least know that it will go with something I already have.

The response on your question tells me there are some lovely stashes out there . Buy it or you will start losing sleep over it and it might even make you ill. Buy it and enjoy the pleasure of deciding which something to make that is worthy enough to use that piece!!

Go for it... I purchased some whimsical charm squares online because I fell in love with them and I just used them in a table runner. I'm sure you'll find a great project for the Posey somewhere along the way.

A few days ago a member shared her quilt "Welcome Spring" free pattern from Moda Bake Shop, she did a slight variation - I just love it. Now, after reading about your infatuation with Posy Fabric I see a connection! Go buy it for pete's sake before it's all gone!
Happy piecing and peace
