- when I have six inches of thread left on the bobbin and top thread at the end of a long seam
- when I have just enough fabric to cut out all the pieces

When I'm off work and it's a snow or rain day and I can stay in and quilt. Don't tell my farmer husband that though since he hasn't been able to get in the field yet. Getting more snow right now.

-When I don't lose the points of my triangles after sewing them into my block
-when my seams line up perfectly

The final stitches to finish a quilt! It means I can get started on the next idea haunting my dreams!! Also the smile on the face of the recipient of my quilts

When I do not have any mismatched, misplaced, sewn backwards pieces to rip out.
