Default height of cutting table

I saw a thread or (read it somewhere) how to figure out how high your cutting table should be. Can anyone tell me where I can find out the info?

Thanks

I don't know what the height should be, but I purchased bed risers to raise my table and they help a lot.

I am 5 foot 4 inches and my cutting table is 32 inches, just right for me.

Here is another eariler thread that might give you ideas.

My cutting table is 37 1/2" from the floor to the top of the table. I wanted it like that because my counters in the kitchen are that height. I found this to be an ideal measurement for me. The cutting table top is 3' x 5'.

For most people, kitchen counter height is about right. Why don't you try doing some cutting at your kitchen counter, and take it from there? If it's too high or low, you'll realize it after a while.
