My quilty friend from Washington state is going to fly across country to visit me next July....I am so looking forward to it!! If all goes well, my friend in New York is going to try and join us. What a great time we are going to have!!! Maine Quilt show, exploring quilt shops, a couple of nights at Maine's coast....YIPPEE!!! I am going to have to be good this winter and use what I have in my stash so I can save my money for next summer. How fun to have something great to look forward next year!

The gals are not from this board; we met on the old Fons & Porter forum and we have remained friends ever since.... Been about 5 years now.

I just came back from a trip to Maine...met Lenny the BIG chocolate moose, ate the best Lobster Pie I have ever had and of course visited some lovely quilt shops along with LL Bean. Maine has lots to offer!!

Maine is wonderful. I love living here and there are many things to see ( quilt shops only being some of them! ). I hope you have a great time with your friends.
