Today I feel like a winner.I happened to go to my lqs after work today and it was quiet there only another customer and myself. I was getting ready to leave and one of the owners asked me to come in the other room she wanted to show me something. Well next thing I knew she was handing me these magizines and told me that someone had given them to her. Now I have a total of 10 or 11 quilting books. A friend of mine gave me one or two a year ago.

Very cool. I keep my mags in a binder with a protective sleeve. That way they stay in good condition. I have some cross stitch mags from the mid 90's and are still in very good condition.

WOW ! That is a fantastic prize.
That was very thoughtful of her. I love quilting magazines, but can't to afford them. I saw one today at the grocery store American Patchwork /December, that had a pattern from Kansas Troubles, I am putting that on my Christmas list. I never thought until recently when I noticed all the great things people were finding, is to look at yard sales for the mags and quilting supplies.
