Inspira quilt frame
I'm trying to figure out whether I will have enough room for a long arm quilting machine. I'm looking at the viking long arm on the Inspira frame. I have just seen them at shows, and online. Does anyone have one that can tell me what the actual footprint is? Thanks!!

I have the Viking 18x8 with the Imperial frame extended to 12' do you need measurement of al sides to see the fit?
depends if you want to do pantos from the back or not but the width of the whole frame with machine mounted and extended to the back is about 44" and the inspira frame is 10' so 122" plus few inches for whatever extends on both sides.
Hope this helps a little

I also have this model. I needed way more room than I thought. First, if you are going to do pantographs, you will need to work from the back, so you'll need around 30" in back. (even if you don't do pantos, the machine head will extend beyond the back of the frame about 12") As Charming posted, the frame base is 44". You need to walk around the frame to get to the back, so 24" - 30" on one side. You need to be able to reach the other end as you roll the quilt so 12" on the other, and 3 feet in front. I would say 9 X13. Mine is in an odd shaped room, about 9 X 15 and it takes up most of the space. You will have LOTS of storage underneath, however!!!
