Inspirational Quilting theme sayings
Do you have a favorite inspirational or humorous quilting/stitching saying or quote? I thought it would be fun for us all to share. For example, I really like "Inside every quilter is a masterpiece trying to get out." But, there are so many it would be nice to have a list. There are some funny ones like "I'm working on my PhD in Sewing (Projects Half Done). I'm interested in your thoughts...

My favourite is an old saying, not necessarily just for quilting, "A blind man would be glad to see it".
Here are a few I can remember:
- To quilt is human, to finish is divine
- Quilters always press to the dark side
- Quilters know when to hold 'em and when to fold 'em
- A quilt on the bed is worth two in the head.
- She who dies with the most fabric didn't sew fast enough
- A bad day quilting is better than a good day working
However, I've started telling everyone my quilts are all 'Amish' - a mistake in every one, lol.
