Default Interesting quilt kits

I saw on line, kits for Gee's Bend quilts. I had the pleasure of seeing the ladies' work at our art museum, and the beauty of the quilts was the fact they used what they had and it was pure creativity. The kit concept threw me. To each his or her own, though.

I hadn't heard of those before either. Kits yes but not Gee's Bend quilts.

There have been a series of patterns developed from the Gees Bend quilts with some having kits available. I have been told that the solid colors of the fabric were developed to be close to the colors in the original quilts.

They are available at Tuesday Mornings stores on May 1. You can see the kits at their website.
