you looked too bored and like you had too much money cluttering your pockets

obtw ... there was a time some years ago at which SQ ran at 6 or 6:30 on Saturdays mornings. I think Carol Duvall was right after. i used to get up early to watch. i guess they didn't realize that because we work waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay into the night on our quilts .... then are up at dawn tending to the people and chores we neglected for our quilts that it probably wasn't the best time to catch the most viewers. i'm thinkin ... oh ... say ... 9 or 10? during the first breather and relaxing cuppa?

anway, as you said, no more weekends with Alex. who's the really kewl lady ... ellen something i think ... who's there in at least a few episodes. she's a hoot.
rats! now i'll have to go fishing around until it figure it out! or it'll come to me at 2am and wake me up.
mummble, grumble, razzle, frazzle ....

DIY Network is still showing Simply Quilts every afternoon but Thursday at 2:30 p.m. EST....just in case anyone wants to watch some more reruns. :)

It was Mary Ellen Hopkins. She is a hoot! I wonder if she's still in business, though. Her website used to have links to the patterns and books she had for sale, then it was just information about her seminars. that hasn't been updated in 2 years.

Unfortunately, I can't get DYI from our cable co. We pay 54/mo and the only thing worth watching is reruns of CSI. But if you watch enough of those, you get to where you want to go out and kill someone for something new to watch! Even PBS here in Raleigh, that use to show Georgia Bonesteel doesn't show any sewing shows anymore. The popul;arity of quilting has exploded in the last few years, and it seems like no is paying attention. I heard soemone say that the Carol Duvall show is on the chopping block also. Is this true? I don't get to watch her often but she had a good show.
