Is anyone attending the Quilt Festival in Houston in November? I have never been, but I am planning to go this year. I hope to meet
some quilting board members while I am there.

:-( Sad to say that we will not be going this year but have been 3 years before. It is a Show that I wish everyone could attend just once. We shopped the vendors for 2 days and then saw the Quilts entered on the last day. Still wish we had another day. It is huge. I WILL be there next year!!! Enjoy & have a blast. Carry as little as possible and wear extremely comfy shoes. It is usually a bit warm in there in the afternoons. To avoid carrying money & having to make change and such, I found it easier to carry 1 credit card, make my purchases on it and pay it off when I got home. Worked really well.

I'm going! Will try to wear a distinctive little piece of fabric with QB (Quilt Board) or my Quilt-fanatic name on it. Last year I missed the trip because the evening before leaving, I fell in yard and broke right wrist (has 9 pins and a plate in it now).

be sure to wear comfortable shoes and maybe have an extra pair just to have comfortable feet we have been three times and my feet were so swollen by the end of the day all I did was lay on the bed wallowing in my delicious fabric
